Responsive web design
Websites for every device — iPhone, Android, PC, Mac
FENIX builds websites that work on every smartphone, tablet and desktop — from iPhone and Samsung Galaxy to Windows PC and MacBook. No separate mobile design, just one clean platform.
Responsive web design Vienna — websites for smartphone, tablet and desktop by Fenix Web.
Smartphones
iPhone, Samsung, Google Pixel and more
Most website visits come from phones today. FENIX websites are built mobile-first — content, navigation and forms are optimised for small screens first, then scale up. Tested devices and operating systems:
- Apple iPhone — iOS Safari, all current models from iPhone SE to iPhone Pro Max.
- Samsung Galaxy — Android Chrome, Galaxy S and A series, Fold and Flip.
- Google Pixel — Stock Android, Pixel 6 to current.
- Xiaomi & Redmi — MIUI and HyperOS, Chrome and Mi Browser.
- Huawei — HarmonyOS, Huawei Browser and Chrome.
- OnePlus / OPPO — OxygenOS and ColorOS, Chrome.
- Sony Xperia — Stock Android, Chrome.
Tablets
iPad, Android tablet and more
Tablets have their own requirements: wider screen than a phone, but the interface is often touch-driven. FENIX layouts use the space sensibly — no clipped text, no tap targets that are too small.
- Apple iPad — iPadOS Safari, iPad mini to iPad Pro 13".
- Samsung Galaxy Tab — Android Chrome, Tab S and A series.
- Lenovo Tab / Amazon Fire — Android Chrome and Fire Browser.
PCs & Laptops
Windows, Mac, Linux and ChromeOS
On desktop, users have mouse, keyboard and plenty of space. FENIX websites make use of that: larger text reads better, hover effects and keyboard navigation work correctly, and forms are optimised for mouse input.
- Windows PC / Laptop — Chrome, Edge, Firefox — all current versions.
- Mac (macOS) — Safari, Chrome, Firefox — MacBook, iMac, Mac mini.
- Linux — Chrome and Firefox on Ubuntu, Debian and other distributions.
- ChromeOS — Chrome browser on Chromebook.
What responsive means
One website — all screens
Responsive web design means: layout, fonts, images and spacing adjust automatically to the available screen width. No separate "m." subdomain, no app needed. Since 2020 Google uses the mobile version as the primary indexing source (Mobile-First Indexing) — a cleanly responsive website is therefore also critical for rankings.
Technically FENIX uses CSS Flexbox and Grid, fluid type scaling and optimised images in modern formats (WebP, AVIF). Combined with fast load times this produces good Core Web Vitals — Google's measure of user experience.
